A few weeks ago, I just happened to come across the blog Granola Mommy of 2 and saw a post for her cheese soup recipe. She said that her little one loves to eat it, so I wanted to try it out too. I love her detailed pictures - even someone like me couldn't mess this up (I am trying really hard to cook more though!)
All of the ingredients were easy to find and very affordable. The only thing I changed from her recipe is that I did not add extra salt, (I figured the ham would be plenty) we always use unsalted butter at our house, and we made sure the chunks of veggies/ham were cut small so that Aliyah wouldn't choke.
Tyler and I made this together for Valentine's Day. It was absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to make this again. We even gave Aliyah a small bowl and spoon and let her have at it once the soup cooled. She loved the soft potatoes, carrots, celery and ham.
She loved it so much that she needed a bath afterwards
