When I don't have any extra money to spare on home projects, I try to find a new way to arrange the furniture. As simple as this sounds, this has given a few rooms in our home a completely new look for free! Here are 3 other simple ideas:
1. Paint The Walls: use one color or two
we painted the nursery a light blue and brown to match the crib set and decided on a gold color for our main bathroom.
2. Recover a Couch or Chair
we got a great deal on our dinning room table and chairs when we purchased them last summer from my aunt. we recovered the chairs to match our kitchen with fabric we found on sale at Joann Fabric and Craft
3. Replace or Paint Hardware
there are so many fun knobs you can purchase for cabinet doors to make your kitchen or bathroom look new, but depending on how many you need, it could get very costly. for $5 you can switch from gold to silver with a can of spray paint. (we have done our kitchen cabinet knobs, bathroom door knobs and even the gold section of a ceiling fan)
