Tupperware and Kitchen Utensils

Need something to do with the kiddos on a rainy day? This is so simple, but it really works to keep my baby entertained and happy for quite a while. Collect your tupperware and kitchen utensils for this quick and easy activity to do together.
(when playing with water, never leave your baby alone)

9 months old

** if you don't want the mess, skip the water all together! Aliyah is more than happy banging plastic lids with a wooden spoon

** fill a big tupperware container with a little water and help your little one stir, pour and splash (tile floor would be ideal or just throw down a few towels)

** if you are stuck indoors because of winter weather, grab a few snowballs for your big container - they might not last long, but it could be fun for a little while

EXTENSION: if you have older kids (preschool age-ish) try putting dry beans or sand in your large tupperware container
